Jerusalem


JERUSALEM is the object of an endless crusade. A crusade fueled by memories—for it is a city of memories. It is haunted by them. It is inexorably linked to the past and thus condemned to be ruled by it. The Palestinians in the Arab Quarter say that it is a necrocracy—a city ruled by the dead.
